Owner Labor Board

Labor Operations Board

This HTML prototype organizes front, kitchen, and total labor costs by week, and continues through employer on-costs and sales comparison. Sample defaults are aligned to Australia, including weekend multipliers, public holidays, super, leave accrual, and estimated net pay.

Roster Input

Input Method

Select one employee to expand all weeks. Enter daily work hours directly, and mark public holidays to auto-recalculate pay for that date.

Base Settings

Defaults are aligned with ATO / Fair Work references as of April 12, 2026. The current default super rate is 12%, annual leave accrual is 4 weeks/year, and WorkCover + Payroll Tax are set to 0 unless needed.

In Australia, annual leave accrues on ordinary hours. Overtime is typically excluded from leave accrual. At a 38h full-time baseline, this is about 2.92h/week and 152h/year. Part-time accrues pro-rata, and casual employees do not receive NES paid annual leave.

`Employee Net Tax / Deduction Estimate` is for rough employee-side withholding (for example PAYG), so changing it updates net pay. `Payroll Tax` is a separate employer-side payroll tax by state/territory and does not change employee net pay.

UI language and legal rules are independent. You can run Korean UI with Australia payroll/leave rules, or English UI with Korea rules.

OT treatment for part-time and casual staff varies by award, contracted ordinary hours, and roster rules. In this prototype, `OT threshold` is set per employee. If casual loading applies, include it directly in the hourly rate.

Week Card Usage

Cards are selection-only. Edit week name and start date here, and delete week cards from inside each card.

Full-time usually assumes 38 ordinary hours. For part-time, it is more accurate to set each employee's `OT threshold` to their contracted ordinary hours. Casual employees have no paid annual leave in this tool, so leave accrual is calculated as 0.

For eligible employees, super can apply to full-time, part-time, and casual as an employer cost. Payroll Tax is also an employer-side tax, not an employee net deduction. Employee net pay is affected by `Net Tax / Deduction`.
